Blade tip to hand distances

The distance from the left blade tip to the left hand and the distance from the right blade tip to the right hand.

Step 1. Attach the end of the measuring tape to the left blade tip

Step 2. Measure the distance from the left blade tip to the left hand

  • Measure from the left blade tip to the knuckle of the middle finger of the left hand (the hand closest to the left blade).

  • The left blade tip to left hand distance is 610mm in the example image below.

Step 3. Attach the end of the measuring tape to the right blade tip

Step 4. Measure the distance from the right blade tip to the right hand

  • Measure from the right blade tip to the knuckle of the middle finger of the right hand (the hand closest to the right blade).

  • The right blade tip to right hand distance is 610 mm in the example image below.

Step 5. Enter the distances into the 'Blade tip to hand distances' setting
