# Blade tip to hand distances

## Step 1. Attach the end of the measuring tape to the left blade tip

## Step 2. Measure the distance from the left blade tip to the left hand

* Measure from the left blade tip to the knuckle of the middle finger of the left hand (the hand closest to the left blade).
* The **left blade tip to left hand distance** is 610mm in the example image below.

## Step 3. Attach the end of the measuring tape to the right blade tip

## Step 4. Measure the distance from the right blade tip to the right hand

* Measure from the right blade tip to the knuckle of the middle finger of the right hand (the hand closest to the right blade).

## Step 5. Enter the distances into the 'Blade tip to hand distances' setting
