# Blade tip to hand distances

### Step 1. Measure the distance from the blade tip to the bottom hand

Attach the end of a measuring tape to the tip of the blade and measure the distance from the blade tip to the knuckle of the middle finger of the bottom hand.&#x20;

### Step 2. Measure the distance from the blade tip to the top hand

Attach the end of a measuring tape to the tip of the blade and measure the distance from the blade tip to the centre of the handle or tee grip.&#x20;

### Step 3. Enter the measured tip to hand distances in the configuration settings

Open the [Web Bluetooth App](https://app.onegiantleap.co.nz) and set the 'Blade tip to hand distances (mm)' that were measured in Steps 1 and 2 above.&#x20;

To maintain data accuracy, it is important that your hands are located at the positions that have been entered into the settings. We recommend applying tape or other suitable locator to the shaft at the bottom hand location to prevent your hand moving from its measured position.
