# Clamp Adjustment

You can increase or decrease the clamp tightness by adjusting the screws on the clamp mechanism:

## Step 1. Tighten or loosen the clamp screw

* &#x20;Use a Phillips-head screwdriver. Clockwise will tighten the clamp, counterclockwise will loosen the clamp. If it requires more than a gentle force to lock the clamp with the left shaft in, it is probably too tight and should be loosened.
