# How to start/stop recording High Speed Data

## Step 1. Navigate to the [High Speed Data](http://localhost:3000/high-speed-data) page of the Web Bluetooth app and connect to the power meter

## Step 2. (Optional) Click on the 'Data' setting to select the variables you want to record

Note: Keep the number of data messages to a minimum. Downloading excessively large files can take a long time.&#x20;

## Step 3. (Optional) Click on the 'Recording Limit' setting to select the duration of the recording

Note: Keep the recording duration as short as necessary. Downloading excessively large files can take a long time.&#x20;

## Step 4. Click the 'START' button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to start the recording

## Step 5. (Optional) Click the 'STOP' button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to stop the recording
