Efforts of 15 minutes @ Zone 4 (low) (91%-95% of FTP)

  • Maximum of 3 efforts per session

  • Maximum of 9 efforts per week

Efforts of 10 minutes @ Zone 4 (95%-100% of FTP)

  • Maximum of 4 efforts per session

  • Maximum of 12 efforts per week

Efforts of 6 minutes @ Zone 4 (high) (100%-105% of FTP)

  • Maximum of 4 efforts per session

  • Maximum of 12 efforts per week

These sessions specifically target Functional Threshold Power development by raising the intensity to near threshold. Keep in mind that endurance targeted sessions can also elicit improvements in Functional Threshold Power.
